My Introduction - Penny Peckham - and a discovery about saving a draft!

Well, I just posted my Introduction, but it's down the list at 3 January, because that's when I began the draft...I didn't expect that to happen! So my Intro's there, if you'd like to scroll down. To cut to the chase...Group Six and my title is A girl waiting....and I'm VERY happy to be involved. Thanks Sara!

regards posting something you started writing a while back - yes blogger has a habit of posting according to the initial draft date rather than when you last updated or hit 'publish'- I suggest there are 2 easy ways around this: 1. copy everything in from draft - paste into a 'new post' and then hit publish...... or 2. on your draft choose a schedule post time and date (if you are using new editor - this feature is on the right of your post box, near 'labels' you can 'schedule' just 30mins into the future...)

either way your draft will not then be back-dated but right up to minute.....

Great! Thanks for that, Ronnie.

Hi Penny. Same thing happened to me, which was a bit startling! I was backdated to Jan 5. I'm glad you said something about it. Thanks--I'm really wishing I'd said something myself and perhaps could've spared you that. I'm sorry! I used to use Blogger, but had forgotten some of its quirks.

I'm also in your group. Your work looks fantastic, and your background in Art History sounds intriguing. I'm very much looking forward to seeing how your edition evolves! Thanks for letting us know your post was down there.

I love your colors for 'With these Hands' - gorgeous! I, too, find artist books to be a great way to bring together the writer and the artist in me.
It's amazing how often the process of creating art crosses over into the kitchen (i.e. I use a lot of the 'tools' meant for the kitchen in my studio). Have fun with your kitchen sink prints -

Yeah like Ronnie said; the schedule button will resolve these backdating issues. And I think once you change it once it will remember your setting.... but don't quote me on that...!
