I am not an experienced book maker but I read in one of Alisa Golden's books http://www.nevermindthepress.com that she even writes about her thoughts and what the weather was like in the colophon. I guess that means you can be creative and include anything you think/feel relevant, even your sense of humour :)
Hello Aine, somewhere back in the mists of time on this project I think we had an agreed form of words for the colophon, arranged with Jeanette Winterson's publisher, but in addition to that you can put anything you want, and I think you should! I will try and look out the information and email it to you later... Sara x
